STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE

During my undergraduate degree I spent two years as the student representative acting as a link between the students and members of staff. During my PhD I am undertaking a similar role as I have been elected the student representative for my generation of PhD students here in Heidelberg.

PLANCKS UK AND IRELAND PRELIMINARIES

For 2021 I was the Chair of the organinsing commitee for the UK and Ireland national preliminaries of PLANCKS (Physics League Across Numerous Countries for Kick-Ass Students). This year the preliminaires were hosted by my commitee at the University of Kent with the IOP and IAPS. Along with the four hour exam we had talks and events with internal and external lecturers all of which can be watched on the KENT PLANCKS 2021 YouTube channel.

For 2022 I am the web designer for these preliminaries, check out the website and sign up here!

PEER MENTORING

I was a mentor in the School of Physical Sciences from 2018-2021 during my degree helping students in the earlier years with understanding the course content, this is something I wish to continue so if you are interested please feel free to contact me.
